    OFN's Knowledge Sharing team develops training curricula, materials and events that increase the capacity of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) to meet the capital and technical assistance needs of low- and moderate income borrowers in under-served communities throughout the US. The target audience includes CDFIs financing small businesses, commercial real estate, community facilities, affordable homes, and consumer needs. Topics will include one or more of the following core skills: CDFI leadership and governance, financial reporting and management, strategic and business planning, capitalization, financial performance assessment, and impact evaluation. The intern may provide support on issues related to climate solutions and resilience. The intern will assist the team in:

    • identifying, collecting, and vetting appropriate training materials, publications, tools, and templates; 
    • designing a comprehensive, user-friendly online resource library; 
    • organizing resources to post in the library, and 
    • other aspects of developing and delivering resources and training and peer learning programs.
    Qualifications: Enrollment in an undergraduate program, strong writing skills, familiarity with community development and/or finance preferred. 

    This is a full-time internship and will run from approximately June 1, 2020 to August 14, 2020 (10-12 weeks). 

    A paid stipend (maximum of $6900 for the term) is available for this internship.
