Are you a CDFI or mission-driven lender board member? Strengthen your leadership and governance with this three-part virtual course, tailored to help CDFI board members guide their organizations in pursuing their missions and meeting strategic goals. We’ll cover leading practices in board composition and governance, including fiduciary responsibilities and strategic planning; examine challenges and opportunities facing CDFI leaders; and explore strategies for succession planning and managing change.
Each of the three modules consists of two hours of virtual learning time and light pre-work to ensure that attendees are able to maximize their class time.

This training is only open to board members of CDFIs and other mission-driven lenders. When registering, you will be required to share the name of the CDFI or mission lender you support.
Please note: For board members seeking foundational knowledge of the industry and/or that are new to CDFIs, we strongly suggest that you also register for our CDFI 101 Orientation. We'll be offering a virtual Orientation a week prior to the start of this course from 1-4pm ET on November 6. During the CDFI 101 Orientation, attendees dive into the evolution of the industry; engage in networking; participate in facilitated discussions on CDFI impact and current trends; and hear from CDFI leaders. Location: This course will take place virtually via Zoom. Registrants will receive an email, logistical details, and all calendar invites for the course from OFN Development Services (developmentservices@ofn.org) on Monday, November 4.
Registration Fee: $500 per person for OFN Members; $950 per person for General/Non-Members. Fees for this training are substantially subsidized as it is in its pilot phase and sponsored by the Citi Foundation.
