Since 2015, The Wells Fargo Works for Small Business: Diverse Community Capital (DCC) program has focused on distributing capital to CDFIs that serve diverse small businesses.  In 2020 which is the culminating year of the current DCC commitment,  we will offer two unique funding opportunities during one submission period. We are hosting a webinar on 2/12 which will provide information on the two grant opportunities, including eligibility requirements and selection criteria. The webinar will also give participants an opportunity to ask questions.  The intended audience for this webinar is all eligible CDFIs interested in learning more about the program. The webinar will be recorded and those who register for the webinar will automatically receive the link to the recording.

DCC Program eligibility requirements:

  • Organizations must be a US Department of the Treasury certified CDFI
  • Organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code
  • Organizations must have completed at least 2 consecutive years of small business lending as of the date of the Interest Form
  • Located in and serving the United States, including the territories of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands

We will consider Interest Forms from CDFIs that:

  • Have never received a DCC award
  • Have not received an Activator award or a Capacity Building Award in 2018 or 2019

The submission period opens February 18, 2020 and Interest Forms are due on March 10, 2020.  Visit wellsfargo.com/cdfi for DCC guidelines and other program resources. If you have any questions, particularly about eligibility, please contact me at connie.e.smith@wellsfargo.com
