Financial Empowerment for People with Disabilities

When:  Aug 19, 2021 from 13:00 to 14:00 (ET)
Associated with  Open Forum

The National Disability Finance Coalition (NDFC) invites you to a special peer learning event focused on financial education for people with disabilities. Susan Tachau, NDFC Board Vice Chair and CEO of Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation , will discuss StudyMoney.us, a website that promotes financial empowerment for people with disabilities. The event will be held via Zoom on August 19th, 2021 from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm ET. Click here to register now.

Unfortunately, most financial education resources don’t address the unique financial needs of people with disabilities. To fill these gaps, PATF developed its financial education curriculum Cents & Sensibility: A Guide to Money Management, the guide StudyMoney.us is based on. The guide, now in its sixth edition, is available in English and Spanish, and includes a companion educator’s manual.

We encourage you to share this invitation with others you think may be interested.
