BackgroundIn the Transform Finance's Capital and Equitable Communities project, we are exploring and identifying how the process, voice, and agency around capital for low-income communities and communities of color are an integral part of what leads to racial and economic justice. We are then providing action-oriented guidance for how all relevant stakeholders – financial intermediaries (e.g. CDFIs and credit unions), philanthropy, and grassroots community organizations – can support such processes in capital deployment.
