Anita Roman, Operations and Programs Director, joined the Wind River Development Fund (WRDF) in December of 2020. At WRDF, Anita helps implement operation processes and programs that are both intentional and built for the mission of this organization and the betterment of this community. Prior to WRDF, Anita worked at the Wyoming Community Foundation for 9 years as the Program Associate and oversaw grantmaking and traveled the state where she found her passion for philanthropy and community. Anita was born and raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation and is Northern Arapaho and Mexican. She graduated from Central Wyoming Community College with an A.S. in General Studies and went onto the University of Wyoming where she earned her B.S. in Physiology, and her B.A. in Psychology. Anita loves being a mother to her three children, enjoys attending ceremony, powwows, and going to the gym.
