    Description

    Ventures Lending Technologies is the premier web based loan management software serving small and medium sized mission based lenders.  CDC Small Business Finance is the nation's largest non profit SBA lender, empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs with business capital to grow or build their company and facility.  Help us support and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. 

     

    The Ventures team is known for their high level of customer service.  With strong knowledge in loan production and Ventures technical functionality, the Client Development Specialist will provide support and training to Ventures clients which operate across all stages of loan production and portfolio management.  

     Our lender clients, most of whom are non-profits, assist business owners across the U.S. Many are Certified Development Financial Institutions or Certified Development Companies that generate billions of dollars in financing annually.  We have offices in San Diego and Sacramento but are open to remote work. We currently have team members in all four US continental time zones.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Review & respond to Incident tickets in our Support Ticketing System according to set response times. (Incidents are the initial point of entry for all help related emails).  Generally response time should be within a few hours.
    • Communicate clearly and collaboratively with clients to help them find the technological solution to their software needs within the platform.
    • Ticket resolution generally should be completed within 24 hours.  This role includes completing follow up at appropriate intervals with clients to close out tickets for tracking purposes.
    • Ability to provide training to users through online platforms
    • Ability to create written documentation for training and knowledge base articles  
    • Collect information for input to the Vice President of Sales and Support based on ticket experience.  This role should spot technology trends or necessary hot fixes and prepare proper documentation to support the request as directed by their manager.

    Location

    • On-Site locations available in San Diego or Oakland, California,  or remote locations available with occasional travel for company meetings (usually quarterly or semi-annually).  If remote, the work location should be in an area with access to high speed internet.

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year of experience related to technology support or customer service
    • Familiarity with financial services is helpful.  User experience in the Ventures+ platform is a plus.
    • Problem solving skills.  
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable operating independently and having high value for the team environment.
    • Proven experience providing superior customer service online and over phone.
    • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and is detail oriented
    • Legally able to work in US without sponsorship
