    It is probably best to find firms in California who are authorized to conduct audits in your state. One thing that might help you identify those firms is to ask your fellow CDFIs in California which firms they use. You can also review the 990s from other CDFIs and identify potential firms that way. Finding an auditor that is interested in working with you throughout the year as a resource can be helpful as you grow and implement new financial policies or practices.  Good luck!

    Hi Cami.  All of Enterprise Community Partners, including Enterprise Community Loan Fund, our CDFI, is audited by CohnReznick.  They're a large national firm with a strong CDFI practice.  We've found CohnReznick to be a good partner.  I would be happy to discuss the topic more with you, if it would be helpful.  Thanks.

    Cami - In addition to Cohn Reznick, you might want to consider Lindquist (Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP (LvHJ) - A California CPA Firm), or Novogradac (www.novoco.com). Both are based in SF and know CDFIs well. Art

    Just recalled that RSM US is another firm used by CDFIs in the Bay Area.
