Associate Director of Lending: The Associate Director of Lending is an exciting new role that will lead Champlain Housing Trust's lending activities, working in collaboration with leadership to identify opportunities to maximize community impact and long term program sustainability.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of grants management, mortgage lending, CDFI, real estate, or paralegal experience with an equivalent amount of management and supervisory experience. Knowledge of mortgage lending practices, basic real estate transactions and familiarity with federal grant compliance requirements are required. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, ability to cultivate a strong team environment, desire to learn and grow, and a commitment to social justice are required. Reliable transportation and ability to pass a criminal background check are required.
Mortgage Loan Officer: As a mortgage loan officer at Champlain Housing Trust you will use strong lending and customer service skills to help people achieve and sustain the dream of home ownership with our nontraditional products and programs.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in banking, lending, real estate and/or federal grants. A degree or post-secondary coursework in a related field or a combination of education and experience may be considered. Must have a Vermont Mortgage Loan Originator's license, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire is required. Preference will be given to those who currently carry a VT MLO license. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, desire to learn and grow, and a commitment to social justice are required. Reliable transportation and ability to pass a criminal background and credit check are required.
