I was hired to coordinate a lending program for use by Shoreline Owners (residents on the coastline), with loans complimenting the finite grant incentives we already have offered as part of our Shore Friendly Program. A lending program on shorelines exists in MD, VA, and it used to exist in CT . In putting this together, our state wants to follow the model of contracting with an intermediary lender, as opposed to agency underwriting.
I'm exploring/preparing my options for some short-term, tight-turnaround contracting of expertise to assist on Statement of Work and RFP design that will attract a CDFI, given our program goals and parameters, leading up to a future program RFP (targeting CDFIs).
In our Master List of contractors for WA state, I'm just not seeing those expertise pop out.
QUESTION:
1) Interested parties? Consultant referrals? -- AND/OR --
2) Are there other suggestions on how to acquire that expertise? Perhaps specific questions on this platform or the hosting of an input meeting?
