This is a paid internship, offering $15 per hour for between 10 - 15 hours per week.
CDFI Friendly America is seeking a self motivated, inquisitive, and eager intern to join our team for Fall 2022. CDFI Friendly America is on a mission to use our expertise in the $222 billion Community Development Financial sector to bring equitable financing to every American. The organization is led by community development financial institution legends, Mark Pinsky and Adina Abramowitz. We are a small, close knit team, but our efforts span the width of the country.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Create and schedule social media content
- Research community development financial institutions and other industry specific organizations and news
- Complete data entry
- Assist the Communications and Operations Manager in meeting and event coordination
- Prepare short reports, Prezis, and other content for custom audiences.
The most qualified intern should have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong editing and note-taking skills
- Interest in a career at the intersection of justice and finance
- Attention to detail
- Inquisitiveness and gusto to ask pertinent questions
- Knowledge of Google Drive and G-Suite including Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Knowledge of social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Handshake
This position is remote. Interns must provide their own computer and internet access and have availability to work between 10-15 hours per week. Interns will be compensated $15/hour.
