Join LISC on Wednesday, December 2nd at 3:00 PM ET to learn more about the Economic Mobility Corps – an innovative partnership between AmeriCorps and the CDFI Fund to place about 61 AmeriCorps Members at certified CDFIs throughout the country in each of the next two years. The initiative will help to develop a diverse talent pool for CDFIs, while also expanding the capacity of CDFIs to provide financial education and counseling services to their clients. LISC is planning to apply to AmeriCorps to be an administrative agent to place Members at CDFIs, and is actively seeking potential CDFI partners for this initiative. LISC’s AmeriCorps Director, Stacey Grant, will provide participants with Economic Mobility Corps program highlights and offer next steps.
As part of its outreach, LISC has also coordinated webinars with the trade associations listed below, if you are a member of these associations and you may join one of these sessions in lieu of the general session we are offering on December 2nd.

Certified CDFIs interested in potentially hosting an AmeriCorps member, are asked to complete the Expression of Interest Survey (link below). If you are interested in potentially hosting an EMC AmeriCorps Member, please complete the survey no later than 1:00 pm EST, Wednesday, December 16, 2020. A response to this survey is simply an expression of interest. It does not require respondents to host an AmeriCorps member, nor does it guarantee, if awarded, that LISC will provide AmeriCorps resources to your organization. However, all organizations who respond and provide contact information, will be included in additional outreach LISC performs should LISC be selected for an award.
