I teach and conduct equitable development finance research at Harvard University, and through my consulting business, Carras Community Investment, Inc., I provide development finance advisory services to new and emerging CDFIs and other financing initiatives addressing affordable housing and economic development.
My primary objective is to empower communities through tailored development finance solutions and comprehensive community and economic development consulting services. By leveraging my expertise and dedication to social impact, I aim to:
• Facilitate access to capital for small businesses and community projects, driving local economic growth and job creation.
• Provide strategic consulting services that enhance the capacity of community organizations and local governments to implement effective development initiatives.
• Foster resilient and vibrant communities by supporting projects that improve infrastructure, housing, and social services.
• Advocate for policies and practices that promote equitable development and address systemic barriers to economic inclusion.
Through my work, I aspire to create lasting, positive change that enhances the well-being and prosperity of the communities I serve.
