Bio

Holly A. Cooper is the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Hope Enterprise Corporation, leading a team of seasoned professionals with short and long-term strategic and innovative marketing and communications goals. Cooper brings nearly 25 years of experience launching national public relations, strategic partnerships, brand marketing, crisis communications, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Before joining HOPE, she served as the Chief Communications Officer at the Boy Scouts of America in Memphis, TN, and launched Scouting Deserts, the first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative targeting Black youths in low-income communities. She worked at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital/ALSAC, where she managed public relations with the National Basketball Association, National Football League, FedEx St. Jude Classic, and corporate partnerships.

During her tenure as a marketing consultant, her clients included Time Life Music, Denny’s Restaurant, Legendary Diahann Carroll, Mint Museum of the Arts, and Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts & Culture in Charlotte, NC.  Ms. Cooper has been recognized by The New York City Network Business Journal as a Top 40 Under 40 Dynamic Achiever and served on past advisory boards including the University of Memphis Benjamin Hooks Institute for Social Change, Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity in York County, SC.

Cooper earned her Executive MBA from McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte and a BA from Buffalo State College.  She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
